This collage series, created in 2020, is a personal design project that I used to develop my digital design skills. Inspired by the works of Cy Twombly, Lucio Fontana and Mies van der Rohe. Created in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

The abstract shape compositions were individually hand sketched and then scanned into Illustrator, where I was able to add colour and some aspects of Twombly’s artwork through clipping mask.

I feel that this project represents how much my style as a designer has developed. Its is a reference for one possible direction for future work of this type.
